As a bilingual Psychologist and Psychoanalyst, I provide consultancy and treatment to teenagers, adults and couples dealing with a wide range of emotional and relationship issues, in English, French or Portuguese, in a very comfortable and private environment.
I usually suggest that we start by meeting once or twice to get a clearer understanding of your concerns and decide how to proceed. I review confidentiality as well as collect detailed information about your past and current circumstances that may be helpful to our understanding; this includes your family, growing up experiences, school, work, personal relationships, and health. You can also ask any questions you have. Additionally, these sessions give us the opportunity to get to know each other and discuss what might be helpful for you.
The psychoanalytic method is that of ‘free association’ in which the person speaks freely about all subjects of interest and the psychoanalyst, knowing the laws and unconscious defenses, asks questions, punctuates and proposes associations that make the essence of the subject emerge and emotional wounds can be treated and symptoms can be resolved.

About me
In São Paulo, Brazil, I had the opportunity to study at a school where, early on, I came into contact with English and French. This allowed me to read the classics in the original and, based on literature, become interested in their characters, emotional suffering, personal choices, dilemmas and family issues that permeate human pain.
At the Faculty, I dedicated myself to clinical psychology and the study of psychoanalysts Sigmund Freud (1856-1939) and Jacques Lacan (1901-1981) who brought me great answers to human pain and dilemmas, serving as a basis and tool for my clinical.
Today I work in private practice and provide advice to third sector institutions, supervising the work and contributing to the training of new analysts.
I teach and write books with the aim that more and more people can have access to concepts of Lacanian psychoanalysis and be able to use them in practical life.
Online video and telephone sessions
According to health advice, it is possible to provide psychological services safely through video and telephone sessions and is a very important means of providing care when face-to-face care is not possible, and research shows that care is as effective as in person.
